Create an Application Status

Committee Managers and Administrators can create and establish application statuses in ByCommittee Faculty Search, such as "Ready for Review" or "Shortlist," from the Administration page of a position.

Click "Manage" on your Faculty Search dashboard, and select "Administration" from the dropdown menu

The "Statuses" panel is on the left side of the Administration page

Click "Add New" under the list of "Application Statuses"

Click "Add New" under the list of "Application Statuses"

Enter the status name and set whether or not applicants can update application materials, and view the status when it is applied

To edit existing statuses:

Click "View/Edit..."

Click "View/Edit..."

Click "Edit" to change the status and/or its associated permissions

Note: You can also drag and drop to change the order in which statuses will appear in dropdown menus.
