What is a paper letter request form?
A paper letter request form is a document that is printed by an Interfolio Fileholder and handed a Writer. The paper request form contains information about the fileholder, the letter writer and the specific document that the fileholder is requesting from the letter. The components of the paper request form are as follows:
Why do I need this paper form?
You need this form in order to submit a letter of recommendation to Interfolio.
If you want to mail a hard copy of your letter to Interfolio, please print out your letter and put your letter and this form in to an envelope and mail it to Interfolio's paper processing center. The barcode and unique document ID will be used by Interfolio's paper processing team to put the letter into the right fileholder account.
If you want to submit the letter to Interfolio by way of electronic upload, you will be asked for the unique document ID during the upload process.
Remember, the document ID is a unique code that represents a specific document request from a fileholder to a writer. Each letter that you submit to Interfolio will have its own corresponding unique ID.
