You may deliver letters from Interfolio to AcademicJobsOnline.org.  Here’s how:

Step 1: Log in to your Interfolio account.

Step 2:  Click the Add Delivery icon on the dashboard or click the Add Delivery tab.

Step 3: On the Add Delivery page, click the Upload Application to Website tab.

Step 4:  Locate the unique Interfolio email address associated with the letter you wish to upload.  In the next step, you will need to copy and paste the email address.

Step 5. Open another browser window.  Log in to AcademicJobsOnline.org and go to your Standard Coversheet Form.

  • Add an entry for the each of your writers.  Copy the unique Interfolio email address from Interfolio and paste it into the corresponding email field on the Standard Coversheet form.
  • Check the "email notify on submit" box for each of your entries.

Note:  Do not check any of the check boxes underneath the affiliation field including the one that says “check here to indicate that this person will upload letters on behalf of my writers”.

  • When you have added an email address for each of your writers, submit the Standard Coversheet form by pressing the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.

Step 6. Monitor your email.  Interfolio will send you an email to inform you that you need to log in to Interfolio to complete your Online Application Delivery transaction.

Step 7. Complete your delivery transaction in Interfolio.  Navigate to your Pending Deliveries page and you will see that for each letter requested, a separate Online Application Delivery is created. Confirm that the correct document is going to the correct institution. Click Check Out to complete your transaction.

Note: Please do not send multiple requests to Interfolio for the same letter.  If your writer created a letter tailored for specific position, make sure you select the appropriate document email address.
