Why do some applicants have a "New" tag?

The “New” tag is assigned to applicants by default to show that they have submitted a delivery and you, the receiver, have not assigned a tag to that applicant yet.  As soon as you assign a tag to that applicant (i.e. “downloaded 9/1” or “done”), the “New” tag will go away.  Note:  the new tag will not reappear if that applicant submits new documents.  You will need to check the Last Updated date to be able to tell when new documents have been submitted.

User tip:  If an application arrives on 9/1, and you download the documents on 9/1, add a tag called “Downloaded 9/1”.

Scheduled update on 9/26:

In the Applicants List, we will replace the “New” tag with a “New” label that will appear next to the document icons.  This label will highlight when a new documents is being added to an existing set of documents, and when a brand new applicant has delivered documents.
